Abstract
Behavioral problems are frequently encountered in primary care.1,2 Children’s behavioral problems tend to be brought to the family physician when the parents believe their child’s actions to be abnormal or when the intensity of the child’s behavior overwhelms the parents’ patience and understanding. The family physician will be able to help his patient better if all facets of the interaction of parents, child, and environment are taken into consideration.
