Abstract

The discussion of vascular vestibular syndromes in this chapter is restricted to clearly defined strokes of the labyrinth, the vertebrobasilar, and the middle cerebral artery territories. These vascular territories supply the peripheral and central vestibular pathways and integration centres (Dieterich and Brandt 1995; Baloh 1996).
