Abstract
In the first part of this chapter, we introduce the basic principles of frequency-domain identification and briefly discuss the advantages that frequency-domain methods have over time-domain techniques for rotorcraft identification. Then we give a description of the CIFER identification tool used for this work. In the second part of the chapter, we describe the flight experiments that we performed for the data collection and present the frequency responses estimated from the flight data.
