Abstract

The first seven chapters of this monograph “set the scene” for the applications of fractal analysis in the quantification of the microstructures from materials. The remaining chapters (8 to 11) are written in the form of illustrating the application of the ideas already presented to specific examples of the microstructures of materials. In addition, some extra development of the analytical procedures is offered.
