Linking population dynamics, genetics, and behavioral ecology allows for a discussion of conservation and management. Inherent in creating systems for maintaining primate populations in fragments is the need for creating generalizations (c.f., Marsh et al., this volume). Authors in this section discuss needs for each of the species they study specific to their region. Every situation is slightly different, and this difference slows the pace of conservation on a regional scale. The final chapter in this section attempts to summarize an action plan for all primates in fragments.
