Abstract

Over the last few decades, tableau calculi have been developed for various kinds of logics, such as intuitionistic logics, modal and temporal logics, nonmonotonic logics, many-valued logics, relevance logics, etc., thanks to the flexibility of the tableau method and to the fact that there is often a very strict link between tableau rules and the semantics of the underlying constructs.
