Abstract
The binding isotherm (BI) of any binding system was originally referred to as a curve of the amount of ligands adsorbed as a function of the concentration or partial pressure of the ligand at a fixed temperature. A typical curve of this kind is shown in Fig. 2.1. Numerous molecular models have been studied that simulate particular experimental BIs.
