Abstract
Chronic pancreatitis usually presents with continuous pain on a daily basis and requires pain medication or increased alcohol ingestion to relieve the patient’s pain. Very rarely does exocrine or endocrine insufficiency become the first signs of chronic pancreatitis as these are usually long-term side effects of the disease process.
