Input and Output
Information going from the user to the computer is called input, and information from the computer to the user is output. We have used the default form of input/output (often abbreviated as I/O) in Scheme. Input is a product of the interpreter reading in our requests at the > prompt. Output is the results of evaluating our input Scheme expressions that the interpreter prints out.
