Abstract

The aim of this paper is to answer the question regarding the position of small states in the EU. Yet before this issue can be addressed the exact meaning of ‘position’ needs to be clarified. The term „position“ refers to the ability of the small state to achieve its aims in the EU. Hence, the determination of position is an assessment of how the small state behaves in order to achieve its goals, and what means it disposes of inside the EU to obtain what i wants.
