Abstract
A graph is a finite number of states 0, 1, 2, ... connected by arrows. At each moment τ≥0, exactly one state is active. We denote by Sτ the state which is active at τ. An arrow from state α to state β indicates that a transition from state α to state β can occur at some moment. Such an arrow can exist if α<β only (the latter condition is dropped in case of graphs with returns; see last part of section 14.3).
