Abstract
The digestive tract of a person in the process of adaptation to physical loading undergoes specific changes which are aimed at meeting the power and plastic needs of the organism fully and in a short period of time. Factors regulating the ingestion of food and all the stages of the process of digestion mechanical treatment and movement of chyme in the intestine, separation of substances according to the components suitable for absorption and so on are described (Chesta et al, 1990; Kaufman et al, 1990; Mistaenet al, 1990). In the present study, we pay attention to the evacuation of the stomach contents and the transit of food through the intestine of people with different levels of everyday activity. It is well known that motor activity is a powerful factor influencing all the body systems, including the gastroenteric tract (Kuznetsov, 1985). There has, however, been little information about this question in the published literature.
