Abstract
There is every reason to believe that the (1,3)-Minkowski geometry is secondary. Our model building is not based upon the Pauli algebra, P L , from which is made the Dirac algebra for R 1,3, but upon T L , which bears a similar relationship to R 1,9 (see 4.2 and 4.4). Define .
$${\tilde \sigma _0} = 1,\quad {\tilde \sigma _j} = - {e_{L7}}{q_j},j = 1,2,3,\quad {\tilde \sigma _{p + 3}} = - i{e_{Lp}},p = 1, \ldots ,6.$$
