Abstract
In Chapter II we constructed Lebesgue’s measure on ℝN, and in ensuing chapters we saw how to construct various other measures from a given measure. However, as yet, we have not discussed any general procedure for the construction of measures ab initio; it is the purpose of the present section to provide such a procedure.
