Lebesgue’s Measure

In this chapter we construct Lebesgue’s measure on ℝ N , and in the following chapter we will develop his method of integration. To avoid getting lost in the details, it will be important to keep in mind what it is we are attempting to do. For this reason, we begin with a brief summary of our goals.
