Abstract
In this chapter, several high-performance realizations of continuous-time filters are described. The realizations are based on two of the most popular type of structures, ladder filters and biquadratic based filters [1–15, 17–24]. The frequency of these filters ranges from 100 kHz up to 10.7 MHz. For the design of these filters, the techniques described in chapters 2 to 4 are employed. The employed OTAs use the low-distortion input-stage presented in chapter 2. The quality factor (e.g. the passband ripple) of the filters is controlled by full CMOS resistors. These resistors have been discussed in chapter 3. The automatic tuning systems described in chapter 4 are used for the control of a 10.7 MHz bandpass filter.
