Abstract
We start here with a hyperplane ℙn-1 ⊂ ℙn and a point p ∈ ℙn not lying on ℙn-1; if we like, we can take coordinates Z on ℙn so that ℙn-1 is given by Z n = 0 and the point p= [0,..., 0, 1]. Let X ⊂ ℙn-1 be any variety.
