As it is well known from the high-energy physics, the most basic property of quantum mechanical particles is that they obey only fundamental symmetries, and always can find the way around the lower-level restrictions. It means that any process that is not forbidden by fundamental symmetries should take place, although the rate of some Processes can be small.
