Abstract

One of the most important classes of linear codes is the class of cyclic codes. In general these codes are much easier to implement and hence have great practical importance. From an algebraic viewpoint they are also of considerable interest. Many of the codes we have already investigated are cyclic or derived from cyclic codes. We begin our study by defining a cyclic subspace.
