Abstract

This chapter discusses treatment of emergencies occurring in an outpatient setting. It is meant for the family physician and should be read before the emergency and serve as a quick reference in an actual emergency. Hopefully, the chapter will be like the good doctor taking care of an emergency: efficient, knowledgeable, and useful.
