Abstract
Investigation of contemporary tranditional therapies in various societies in the Arab world are in only the preliminary phase of scientific execution. To date, these research efforts have included very few studies in Egypt, the Republic of Sudan and Kuwait (Okasha, 1966/Nelson, 1968/Lewin, 1958/E1 Islam, 1967/E1 Mahi, 1955/Kline, 1963/Baasher, 1961/E1 Sendiony, 1974).
