Abstract

In this chapter, we will develop the basic imaging relationships for Straight Homogeneous Generalized Cylinders. Here, we look at the kinds of information available from an image of an SHGC with no shadows present. This is the next step in our eventual application of shadow geometry to the interpretation of images of SHGCs, which will take place in chapter 10.
