Abstract

Consider a Euclidean vector space E of dimension d + 1, and the associated projective space P = P(E) with canonical projection p: E \ 0 → P. Recall that P is the set of (vector) lines of E, hence the quotient of the unit sphere S(E) = {xE: || x || = 1} by the equivalence relation x ~ − x (antipodal points).
