Pupillometry: Some Advances, Problems and Solutions

  • Chapter

Abstract

The study of the pupil has a long history and a rich literature, dating back at least to the ancient Greeks, and scientific reports of pupillary research go back at least two hundred years. This introductory chapter will attempt to provide the reader with an overview of the area by discussing some of its technical, methodological, and control problems and solutions.
