Materials Research at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory

  • Arthur Bienenstock

In this paper, a few examples of materials research presently underway at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory are presented. These include x-ray diffraction techniques utilizing anomalous scattering, studies of surfaces utilizing photoemission, and x-ray small angle scattering. EXAFS, one of our major endeavors, is not included because virtually all such studies described in this volume were performed at SSRL, so that a description here would be redundant.
