Possible Relationship between Salivary Kallikrein and Water-Na-K Secretion Stimulated by Tityustoxin (TsTx)

In the salivary glands TsTx can stimulate a number of receptor mechanism(s) including cholinergic, β-adrenergic, α-adrenergic and probably substance P., (Catanzaro, et al., 1976).
