Abstract

Several bradykinin-like peptides have recently been isolated from frog skin or wasp venom extracts. These include bradykinylVal-Ala-Pro-Ala-Ser-OH (I)(Nakajima, 1968), bradykinyl-Gly-LysPhe-His-OH (II)(Yasuhara et al., 1973), [Thr6]-bradykinyl-Ile-AlaPro-Glu-Ile-Val-OH (III)(Yasuhara et al., 1975), vespakinin-X (IV) (Yasuhara et al., 1977) and vespakinin-M (V)(Kishimura et al., 1976). Table 1 shows the amino acid sequences of these bradykininlike peptides.
