Non-Minimal Higgs Bosons: Theory and Phenomenology

  • Howard E. Haber
Part of the Ettore Majorana International Science Series book series (EMISS, volume 50)

I discuss the properties of elementary scalar Higgs bosons which appear in multi-Higgs extensions of the Standard Model of electroweak interactions. The phenomenology of the two-Higgs-doublet model (including the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model) is examined in detail. Finally, I consider the circumstances under which the most likely Higgs structure of a given theory is minimal.
