Electron-Hole Liquid Condensation in Semiconductors

Abstract

The gas-liquid phase diagram for electron-hole liquid condensation in semiconductors is discussed. Its general features can be understood from straightforward statistical considerations using a knowledge of the ground state energy; particular attention is given to the region T ≳ 1/2 Tc.
