Abstract

No compounds were obtained in the S-I and Se-I systems. The phase diagrams of the S-I and Se-I systems have a eutectic character. The eutectic melting points are 66 and 58°C, respectively. The compound TeI4 is produced in the Te-I system [324]. When arsenic interacts with iodine, the stable compound AsI3 is produced, with T melt = 141°C, as well as AsI4, which decomposes at 135–136°C into two immiscible liquid phases [325].
