Abstract
The economic feasibiity of any production process depends not only on prices but also on the possible ranges of physical possibilities and institutional permissibilities. Ideally, the economist would like to obtain from the physical scientist a set of alternative production functions that would permit analysis of all possible alternatives available in any society.
