Abstract
On this occasion when we have gathered to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of a significant event and to honor the memory of the individual who is associated with that event, I wish to submit to this assembly the name of yet another investigator, Dr. George D. Snell who, likewise, has made very notable contributions to the study of immunogenetics.
