Physical Properties and Structure of Individual Radicals

  • Chapter
Free Nitroxyl Radicals

Abstract

The vapor pressure of the individual free radicals is their most important thermodynamic characteristic, having not only theoretical interest, but also great practical importance. Until very recently, this aspect has been investigated for only a few radicals [1]. Table 9 gives almost all the nitroxides and nitroxyls and the corresponding hydrides which have been studied.
