Effects of EmFs at the Cellular and Molecular Levels

  • Chapter
Electromagnetic Fields and Life

Abstract

In discussing the manifestations of the action of EmFs on fully-formed entire organisms and on development from the cell to the fully-formed organism we have encountered various effects at the cellular and molecular levels. This naturally gives rise to the questions: What effects can EmFs have on cells and macromolecules outside the organism? How far do these effects differ from those observed at the same levels in entire organisms?
