Abstract

This session on Computer Applications combines papers on three disparate topics: advanced graphical display techniques in the service of protein chemistry and biology; applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research; and biological laboratory automation. My introductory remarks will concern themselves only with AI Research.1
