Abstract

This is the tenth in a series of conferences on neutrino physics extending over more than a decade. Neutrino conferences have acquired a reputation for exuding an air of expectation, excitement and even of incredibility. Neutrino’ 80, in Erice, has been no exception. At what other conference in the last years could you, in the course of a few days, have heard such wonderful things as the evidence for a finite neutrino mass and for the instability of the proton?
