Perspectives in Particles and Fields

Abstract

In this unique lecture, it is impossible for me to cover all spectroscopy, which is still, experimentally and theoretically, a flourishing field. I was in fact counting on the fact that J.-L. Basdevant would speak about what I would call light quark spectroscopy in which both radial and angular excitations are still being discovered and “explained”. Unfortunately, Jean-Louis will not speak. I shall restrict myself mostly to heavy quark spectroscopy and make a timid incursion in the domain of baryons containing light quarks.
