Abstract
Contemporary life revolves around mutual interchanges. Three of the most common interactions basic to everyone’s life are romantic attraction, nonintimate friendship, and vocational employment. These three topics are presented together in one chapter because of a shared similarity in that each involves reciprocal interactions commonly experienced in every person’s life.
