Abstract
We shall regard the interaction of electromagnetic waves in a plasma as one of the problems of nonlinear electrodynamics. Therefore, we must in the first place consider the equations of the electromagnetic field [1]. It must also be emphasized that the fundamentals of nonlinear electrodynamics set forth in this chapter apply not only to plasmas but also to a much larger class of material media.
