Abstract

In this paper we discuss the effects of the QED corrections on the τ polarization measurement at LEP. We discuss also how τ polarization A pol can be applied for precision tests of the Standard Model. The observables which can be constructed for this purpose and different classes of radiative corrections which affect these quantities are carefully reviewed. We compare the size of the radiative corrections with the size of expected statistical and systematic errors for A pol measurement.
