Abstract
Burn-in is in operation used to ensure product reliability and has become a standard feature of semiconductor industry. Most burn-in systems commercially available only partially fulfill the requirements of MIL-STD-883C. This system, the Computer Operated Burn-in Network (COBNET) System, to a large extent, overcomes the limitations of the existing system and reduces human intervention to a bare minimum. This results in increased reliability. This paper describes the COBNET system and some of its main features.
