Abstract

This session concerned the Drell-Yan process. We summarize and discuss the main issues that were covered. Most of these concern QCD questions. There are some differences between the E615 and the NA10 cross sections for Drell-Yan at large τ. Experiment and theory disagree on the angular distribution of the muons. In the round table discussion, most of the time went to discussing the question of whether experiments should or should not make a correction for Fermi motion before presenting their data.
