Abstract
The UA2 experiment operating at the CERN proton-antiproton collider has accumulated an integrated luminosity of about 750 nb-1 at \(\sqrt{S}\) = 630 GeV during the 1984/85 run periods. This article presents a measurement of the inclusive cross-section of high transverse momentum photons (Section 2). The associated event structure of the direct photon events is discussed in section 3. A signal for production of two direct photons in one event is observed (Section 4). The results presented here (Ref. 1) are an update of a previous publication based on less then half of the present integrated lumincsity (Ref. 2).
