Part of the book series: Contemporary Soviet Mathematics ((MCMA))

Abstract

This section is not a manual in the general theory of Lie algebras. The few facts of this theory which will be needed in the sequel will appear in the appropriate places with references to readily available sources, mainly to the works of the Sophus Lie Seminars [94], Here we merely list the Lie algebras which we shall use later on, and briefly describe their properties.
