Abstract
Several unconventional burners, not available commercially, are described. Combustion flames used in analytical flame spectroscopy, which can be obtained as premixed and diffusion flames; burners; ultrasonic atomization as a means to supply the analytical solution to the flame; and chilled flames are discussed.
