Attempts to Quantify the Effect of Selected Structural Parameters on the Separation of Some N-Arylthiazoline-2-Thione and N-Arylthiazolin-2-One Atropisomers on the Chiral Stationary Phase, Cellulose Triacetate (CTAl)

Part of the book series: Chromatographic Society Symposium Series ((CSSS))

Summary

Molecular recognition mechanisms for cooperative chiral stationary phases such as cellulose triacetate are still poorly understood. Here studies on the effect of the position and type of the subtituent on the separation of N-arylthiazoline-2-thione and N-arylthiazolin-2-one atropisomers on cellulose triacetate (CTA1) are described.
