Abstract

The operation of a semiconductor diode under pulse conditions is characterized by rapid and frequent transitions from one steady state to another. A state of a dynamic system (such as a diode with other circuit elements connected to it) is called steady (stationary) if all the variables describing its behavior do not vary with time or are periodic functions of time (within a defined time interval) [1].
