Summary

The use of high performance liquid chromatography linked to mass spectrometry as a technique for the analysis of semiochemicals is discussed. Examples are given of high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis of insect antifeedants from Ajuga species and of kairomones from Lepidoptera.
