Abstract
Negative ion spectra of chlorophyll-a dissolved in polar or nonpolar solvents have been made by 252-Cf-PDMS using nitrocellulose or uncoated aluminized polyester as supporting substrate. These spectra clearly show that the negative ion formation of chlorophyll-a is strongly dependent on the substrate and also on the aggregation if using nitrocellulose.
