Abstract
We wish to investigate the effects of statistics and quantum mechanical tunneling on the spatial ordering transitions of adsorbed gases. To do so, we consider a system of atoms adsorbed on a substrate which is divided into M cells of area d 2 corresponding to adsorption sites.
